Is It Better To Lose Fat Slow Or Fast? Learn The Truth About Permantely Losing Fat
By Heather Picken

I know if you are like most women you want to lose fat the quickest and easiest way. I wanted to share with you a question I received from a subscriber about what is the best way when you want to lose fat.

Q. Is it better to lose fat slow or faster?

A. Slow and steady wins the race. Most women want results yesterday and so what many women will do is go on the latest crash diet they saw in a magazine, saw on online, or heard about on one of those Hollywood TV gossip shows.

First ask your self this question: Would you rather lose the fat and take it slow and keep it off or lose it quickly and gain it back and then some, and make your metabolism slower?

I hope you said the first one. What happens is initially you will lose weight fast and most of it is water and muscle. The secret to a leaner body is maintaining your muscle, and when I say muscle you may think of some huge bodybuilder. Think again, the toned or sculpted look that many women like to refer to is muscle and without preserving it your metabolism will become a sluggish one.

When I teach women the right fat burning strategies they are often surprised at how much they need to eat in order to lose fat, especially stomach fat and that their energy levels will increase through the roof. If you are feeling tired all the time then you are not fueling your body with what it needs. Age is no deterrent either...don't think because you get older you become tired all the time.
That will only happen if you allow it too.

How many times have you been on a diet..you've lost weight and then you gain it back again.
Then you think because you have lost the weight before on diet ABC that it works. It doesn't and it perpetuates a yo-yo diet cycle. Each time you diet your body produces a an enzyme called LPL which in turn slows down your metabolic furnace by about 30%.

So if you want long term results to shed unwanted body fat, again slow and steady wins the race.
